We have tested a lot of restaurants during our vacation in Le Lavandou. Some were good, some were expensive, mostly both together ;-) .... But this restaurant which is owned and operated by an italien guy is quite excellent. The prices where absolutely reasonabale (15 Euro for a fantastic pizza capriciosa). The restaurant is located a little bit hidden in the old town. It's quite nice to sit there outside between the fatastic old buildings. The people there were so nice, (and we do not speak french, only englisch and german). We had pizza capriciosa and pasta a la vongole. The desert was a classical Tiramisu. I have to say especially the pizza is clearly in the top 5 of my best pizzas ever. And i am 48 and i have been traveling a lot around the world including Italy. The quality of the food, the location, the friendly owner and the reasonable price ( 50 Euro for two people inlcuding drinks and one desert) is hard to find around Le Lavandou . It s my absolute TOP recommendation for autenthic italian food in this region !

Just visited Italy. This was good Italian food! Tugged in a quiet alley. Ideal to make reservations for the outside seating.
